Mark unresolved items clearly. A blank price should not be treated as zero. Ask the provider or travel supplier for the missing information and record the date of the estimate.
How do you use published clinic prices responsibly?
Published fees are useful for deciding whether to investigate a treatment. They should retain their currency, unit and labels such as “from,” “promotion” or “estimate.” Replace them with an individual written proposal before making a financial commitment.

What if you are already visiting Vietnam?
Separate costs you would incur anyway from those added by treatment. An extra week, changed ticket, appointment transfers or a later restorative trip still belongs in the dental budget. This distinction can make a small treatment more practical for one traveller than another. It does not remove the need for clinical assessment or follow-up. Read whether one crown justifies travel for a focused example.
How should currency conversion be recorded?
Keep original-currency fees alongside a dated conversion into your budgeting currency. Record the payment method and expected fees. A research exchange-rate snapshot is not the rate your bank guarantees on the payment date.
Avoid mixing a converted Vietnam starting price with a home-market maximum and presenting the result as typical savings. Match the scope and show uncertainty. If the material or final restoration is unclear, a precise percentage is premature.
Where does the flight benefit fit?

It is ready when the treatment scope is clear, major travel costs are known, unresolved items are explicit and follow-up is workable. Insurance and warranty questions should be answered in writing where relevant.
