- Six implants; suitability needs assessment
What is actually being replaced?
A full-arch bridge replaces multiple teeth using a planned support arrangement. Six implants do not mean six replacement teeth, and one arch does not mean both upper and lower jaws. Ask the provider to name the jaw, restoration design and treatment scope in the written proposal.
For a person with remaining teeth, another question comes first: which teeth, if any, need removal? You should receive an explanation of their condition and the alternatives. A package size should follow a professional treatment plan rather than determine it.

Why might a clinician propose six implants?
The answer should relate to your individual findings and the planned restoration. Ask about the jaw, available bone, bite and distribution of support. This website cannot infer the right number from a photograph or a price preference. Request a plain-language explanation of the proposed arrangement and the reasons another design was not selected.
The four-versus-six comparison is a discussion aid, not a ranking. More implants do not automatically establish greater suitability. If you receive different proposals, compare the reasoning and complete scope before comparing the totals.
What does a complete proposal look like?
| Decision | Evidence to request |
|---|---|
| Full-arch scope | Named jaw and final restoration design |
| Six-implant arrangement | Assessment-based clinical explanation |
| Materials | Implant system, abutments and bridge material |
| Stages | Surgery, temporary teeth if applicable, final fitting and checks |
| Additional procedures | Clear inclusions and conditional extra fees |
| Long-term support | Maintenance instructions and contact arrangements |
The implant brand and bridge material are separate specifications. A brand logo does not prove which components will be used. Keep the actual manufacturer and model information in your treatment records, as recommended in the FDA’s implant patient guidance.
What is the published starting price in Vietnam?
The Elite Dental source checked on 24 September 2026 lists a starting fee of VND 250 million per arch for the stated Korean-system All-on-6 option including surgery and a final fixed bridge. Other options or extra procedures can cost more. This is a clinic’s published starting point, not a final quote or national minimum.
The All-on-6 cost guide explains what doubling a one-arch figure does and does not tell you. Upper and lower jaws may require different work. A two-jaw budget is not established by arithmetic alone, even when a multiplication is useful for preliminary planning.
How should international visits be planned?
Ask the clinician to distinguish the first visit from the complete course of treatment. Surgery and the final bridge may occur at different stages. Temporary teeth, if provided, do not by themselves establish that all restorative work has been completed. The proposed sequence must include the checks that determine whether the next stage can proceed.
Budget for every planned return visit and ask what circumstances could change the schedule. If you have limited leave or cannot return easily, say so before a plan is agreed. That information may affect which options are practical to discuss, but it should not be used to compress necessary care.
What could change after assessment?
Preliminary records can help a clinic prepare for a consultation, but an examination and appropriate imaging may change the proposed work. Ask how revised scope and fees are explained, what happens to deposits and whether you can decline a materially different plan. These are important commercial questions alongside clinical consent.
A useful quote identifies conditional items instead of listing them as included without qualification. The quote checklist provides a way to compare uncertainty across providers without assuming every unknown item will be free.
What should maintenance planning include?
Ask how to clean the specific bridge design, when reviews are needed, how components are identified and who you should contact about concerns. A local dentist’s future involvement should be discussed rather than assumed. Treatment records are valuable when care crosses borders.
Implants and restorations can have complications and require further care. No marketing phrase can promise a permanent maintenance-free result. Read the aftercare guide and warranty guide, then bring the unresolved questions into your Vietnam dental plan. The broader planning guide helps decide whether the whole journey fits your circumstances.
Sources and evidence limits
Clinic price lists describe the selected provider’s published fees, not national averages, endorsements or your final quote. Professional sources support general background; forum posts are unverified anecdotes.
