Why is the quoted range so wide?
The source is a clinic-published estimate range, not a statistical survey. A range should prompt a material-and-scope discussion rather than an assumption that everyone qualifies for the lower figure. Ask which restoration is proposed and why its fee sits at a particular point in the range.
Published fees checked: 2026-09-24. Selected clinic records, not national averages; travel excluded.
| Treatment | Original-currency fee | Unit | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zirconia crown | USD 195–600 | tooth | Yendental, Ho Chi Minh City |
See the crown treatment guide for the difference between a crown over a natural tooth and the crown forming part of an implant restoration. The latter should not be compared with the price of a crown alone.
Which additional items need a separate answer?
| Item to clarify | What to request |
|---|---|
| Condition of the tooth | Diagnosis-based explanation of the proposed restoration |
| Preparatory care | Separate description and fee if additional work is needed |
| Temporary crown | Whether supplied and included |
| Final material | Specific material rather than only “premium ceramic” |
| Fitting and adjustment | Included visits and follow-up arrangements |
| Future care | Maintenance costs and the scope of any warranty |
Do not assume that a root canal or another preparatory procedure is necessary simply because it appears in a package. Equally, do not assume such work is free if it becomes necessary. The clinical explanation and fee should both be clear.
What do multiple crowns cost?
Two crowns at the published range produce US$390–1,200 in simple arithmetic; four produce US$780–2,400. These totals are not a recommendation or quote. Each tooth should have its own reason for treatment, and a larger restorative plan may involve different work.
For a “full-mouth” package, request a tooth-by-tooth schedule and distinguish crowns, veneers, implants and other care. Multiplying a low crown fee by a fixed number of teeth does not define a suitable treatment plan. The materials guide helps decode those terms.
Can a dedicated trip for one crown save money?
It may not. Flights, accommodation, transfers and follow-up can outweigh the difference in the restoration fee. If you are already travelling, calculate only the additional costs attributable to treatment, while still allowing for changed plans or extra time.
The one-crown travel guide gives a decision framework. Our cost comparison shows supported published fees, but an individual quote and complete travel budget should replace that preliminary research before you commit.
What should you ask about payment and protection?
Find out what happens if the tooth needs a different treatment after assessment, whether you can decline the revised plan and how deposits are handled. Ask who responds if the crown needs attention after you return and whether the warranty excludes local treatment or travel costs.
Use the written-quote checklist alongside the Vietnam planning guide. A clear answer about scope is more valuable than a discount on an uncertain package.
Sources and evidence limits
Clinic price lists describe the selected provider’s published fees, not national averages, endorsements or your final quote. Professional sources support general background; forum posts are unverified anecdotes.
