Dental implant costs in Vietnam: what published fees include

Published single-implant fees in our Vietnam sample are VND 30–46 million for the implant fixture, abutment and zirconia crown, according to Elite Dental’s price guide checked on 24 September 2026. That range is a selected clinic’s published fee, not a national average or your final quotation. Additional procedures and travel belong in a separate budget.

Which parts of the implant price are included?

The source matters because “implant price” is not a standardized package name. A fixture-only surgical fee can look much lower than a fee including the connecting component and final tooth. Before comparing, identify whether the quoted unit is one implant, one restored tooth or an entire case.

The published range covers different stated systems. It does not mean every patient receives every option, nor that the upper figure is a ceiling if additional treatment is needed. Request the system, crown material and scope of care in writing. The implant treatment guide explains the components and stages.

What can sit outside the quoted fee?

ItemHow to handle it in a comparison
Consultation and imagingAsk whether included or separately charged
Tooth removalIdentify whether it is part of the proposed scope
Grafting or other additional proceduresKeep as a conditional item until assessed
Temporary toothAsk what is provided between stages
Final crownConfirm material, fitting and adjustments
Reviews and maintenanceSeparate initial treatment from ongoing care

Do not put zero beside an unanswered item. Mark it “awaiting confirmation” and ask the provider to resolve it. Two proposals with different unknowns cannot support a precise savings forecast.

How do you compare two implants or multiple missing teeth?

For two independent restorations using the same published scope, two times VND 30–46 million is VND 60–92 million in treatment-only arithmetic. It is not a quote, because the clinical plan may involve a different restoration or additional work. Replacing several teeth does not necessarily mean one implant per missing tooth.

If the recommendation is a full-arch bridge, use the All-on-4 cost guide or All-on-6 cost guide. Multiplying a single-implant price by every missing tooth can substantially misrepresent that treatment scope.

How should foreign currency and savings be handled?

Our calculator converts supported source prices using the dated exchange-rate snapshot in the methodology. A bank or card provider may use a different rate and charge fees. Keep the original VND figure beside any converted value so you can update the budget when paying.

Compare against your own complete home proposal where possible. A published promotional price, a clinic’s starting fee and an estimate range should retain those labels. The difference between fee figures excludes flights, accommodation, return visits and aftercare; it is not money you are guaranteed to save.

What should you ask before paying a deposit?

Ask for the full treatment sequence, whether another Vietnam trip is planned, which changes could alter the fee and the written cancellation terms. Keep the proposed implant system and restoration in the same document as the price. A low initial payment does not reveal the total commitment.

Use the written-quote checklist to record these answers, and return to the Vietnam planning guide if travel and follow-up are still unresolved. Your next useful step is a clearer proposal, not a faster booking.

Sources and evidence limits

Clinic price lists describe the selected provider’s published fees, not national averages, endorsements or your final quote. Professional sources support general background; forum posts are unverified anecdotes.
